The cadets traveled to Peachtree City's Falcon Field to attend the Great Georgia Air Show. It was an exciting day with several aerobatic performers starting in the morning and running through midafternoon. Some of the performers were available for cadets to meet and ask questions. There were also several military branches in attendance with some of their planes and recruiters. Some of these aircraft included an A-10 Warthog, F4U Corsair, and a C130 that could be toured. The highlight of the day was when the US Navy's Blue Angels took to the sky to perform. The first demonstration was from "Fat Albert" the C130 that carries the maintenance equipment and support personnel for the Blue Angels. Then, as the excitement built in the crowd, the six F/A-18 Hornets took off and gave an exciting performance that left no one in their seat.
